Recipe ingredients
- 12 button mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) butter
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) oil*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) French shallots, chopped
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) oregano
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) liver pâté, diced
- Sufficient quantity, bread crumbs*
Preparation
Hollow the mushrooms with a small spoon or, ideally, a vegetable scoop. Take the mushroom meat and chop.
In a fry pan, melt the butter with the oil, include the shallots and simmer gently for 2 minutes.
Add the mushroom meat, increase the heat and cook for 2 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, oregano and garlic. Let it cool off.
Mix the stuffing with the diced liver pâté and fill the mushrooms.
Sprinkle with bread crumbs and broil in the oven for 3 minutes.
Serve immediately.
