Recipe ingredients
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) flour*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) cumin powder*
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg*, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) water
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) sesame seeds, grilled
- 1 lb (454 g) tilapia fillet
- Oil* and butter* as needed
- Lime or lemon juice to taste
Preparation
In a bowl, mix the flour, cumin, salt and pepper.
In another bowl, mix the egg with water.
In a 3rd bowl, put the grilled sesame seeds.
Slightly dust the fillets with flour and dip them in the egg mixture.
Coat with sesame seeds.
In a fry pan, heat the butter and oil, cook the fillets by turning them over when half done, after 3 to 4 minutes.
Cook the other side of the fillet for 3 to 4 more minutes also.
Sprinkle with lime juice.
