Recipe ingredients
- Marinade
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) soya sauce*
- ½ cup (125 mL) red wine
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 1 lb. 8 oz. (675 g) beef fondue cubes
- Peanut oil* for frying as needed
Preparation
Marinate the beef cubes in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
Remove the meat from the marinade and pat dry well.
Heat the oil to 375°F /190°C.
Spear the meat and fry for 1 to 2 minutes.
Suggestion
Remove the meat from the hot oil and pat dry on a slice of bread to absorb the oil. Use as many bread slices as necessary during the meal.
Accompaniments: potato salad, steamed broccoli.
