Recipe ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) extra virgin olive oil*
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 6 tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
- 14 oz (398 mL) can tomato sauce (can replace fresh tomatoes)
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) chicken bouillon concentrate
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) prepared pesto
- Crushed red pepper to taste
Preparation
In a saucepan, brown garlic, tomatoes or tomato sauce, chicken concentrate and pesto in oil.
Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well.
Serve with fresh parmesan and green salad.
