Recipe ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Irresistibles organic colza oil*
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) Irresistibles chili powder*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Irresistibles paprika*
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) Irresistibles turmeric powder*
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) Irresistibles ground coriander*
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) Irresistibles ground cumin*
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) peeled, grated ginger
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) brown sugar*
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) water
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) coconut milk
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) Irresistibles sea salt*
- 3/4 lb. (800 g) Irresistibles peeled, deveined, cooked shrimp*
Preparation
In a wok or large skillet, heat oil over medium heat and cook garlic with spices and ginger for 30 seconds or until aromatic.
Stir in brown sugar and water.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add coconut milk and sea salt. Add shrimp and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring.
Serve with basmati rice.
