Recipe ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork rib steaks, approximately 7 oz. (200 g) each
- Marinade
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil*
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) toasted sesame oil
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) grated ginger
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) chopped garlic
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) soya sauce*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) honey*
Preparation
In a bowl, combine marinade ingredients.
Marinate steaks 1 – 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Remove meat and pat dry. Set aside marinade.
Barbecue
Preheat barbecue to medium.
Put steaks on the oiled grill and cook 5 minutes per side.
Brush with marinade after turning them over. Shut burners off and cook for 5 minutes with the lid closed.
Stove-top
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Cook steaks 5 minutes per side in a skillet over medium heat.
Transfer to the oven and cook 5 minutes for medium-done steaks that are juicy and tender.
Suggestion
Marinating Time: 1 hourMeat should be fully immersed in marinade so that the flavours can penetrate it. Turn meat a few times while marinating
