- 1⅓ lb. (600 g) snapper
- 1½ cups (375 mL) lemon juice
- ½ cup (125 mL) white vinegar*
- 2½ medium onions, minced
- 4 Tbsp. (60 mL) vegetable oil*
- Salt and pepper to taste
Chop snapper fine with a knife or in the food processor, and transfer to a dish.
Add lemon juice and vinegar.
Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or more.
Pour off liquid.
Mix remaining ingredients into fish.
Serve on toast or crackers.
