Recipe ingredients
- ½ cup teriyaki sauce
- ¼ cup (60 mL) brown sugar
- 1 cup (250 mL) aperitif wine (Dubonnet, St-Raphaël, etc.)
- 6 salmon steaks, cut 1½ in. (3.75 cm) thick
Preparation
Combine first three ingredients in a large dish.
Add salmon steaks and marinate 1 hour, turning occasionally.
Preheat barbecue or grill pan to medium-hot.
Cook steaks approximately 7 minutes per side, giving them a quarter turn to ensure beautiful grill marks.
Suggestion
Tip: Storage: wrap fresh salmon airtight in plastic and refrigerate at 32°F to 40°F (0°C to 4°C).Fresh salmon will keep 1 to 2 days.
