Recipe ingredients
- 1 28-oz. (796-mL) tin pear halves*
- 8 oz. (250 g) cream cheese*, softened
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) milk
- 4 oz. (about 125 g) northern shrimp, chopped
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) lemon juice
- Dill weed to taste
- Salt to taste
- Irresistibles paprika* to taste
- Lettuce as needed
- Lemon wedges to taste
- Stuffed olives* to taste
Preparation
Drain pears.
Beat cream cheese and milk until smooth.
Stir in shrimp, lemon juice, dill weed and salt.
Fill cavity of each pear half with shrimp and cream cheese mixture
Refrigerate 20 minutes.
Set pear halves on lettuce leaves and garnish with a lemon wedge and stuffed olives.
