Recipe ingredients
- 2 trout fillets, weighing 2 oz. (60 g) each
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sauce
- ½ cup (125 mL) sour cream*
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) butter*, melted
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) chopped onion
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) Irresistibles dill weed*
- ½ tsp. (2 mL) Irresistibles thyme*
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Combine sauce ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.
Lay fillets in a buttered baking dish.
Season lightly with salt and pepper, cover with sauce and bake uncovered for 15 minutes or until flesh is opaque.
Cover with foil for the final 5 minutes of cooking time.
Serve.
