Recipe ingredients
- 6 Tbsp. (90 mL) I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® margarine
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) rum
- 2 medium bananas, sliced
- 2 cups (500 mL) Breyers® All Natural Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation
In a 1-quart saucepan, heat margarine, brown sugar and rum over low heat, stirring frequently, until margarine and brown sugar are melted, about 1 minute.
Let stand 5 minutes to cool; stir in bananas.
In 4 serving dishes, put a scoop of Breyers® All Natural Vanilla Ice Cream, top with sauce and walnuts.
