Recipe ingredients
- 14 oz. (400 g) Irresistibles frozen cooked shrimp, peeled, deveined*
- 2 cups (500 mL) shredded lettuce
- ¼ cup ( 60 mL) finely chopped green onion
- 1 cup (250 mL) thinly sliced celery
- 1 cup (250 mL) coarsely grated carrot
- 1 cup (250 mL) frozen peas
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese*
- Salad Dressing
- 2/3 cup (170 mL) Irresistibles plain yogurt *
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) mayonnaise*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) lemon juice
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) honey*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) finely chopped chives
- 1/4 tsp. (1 mL) dill weed
Preparation
Thaw shrimp and drain well. In a glass bowl, layer lettuce, onion, celery, carrot, peas, shrimp and cheese. Refrigerate for several hours. Combine remaining ingredients and serve with the salad.
Suggestion
Shrimp can be replaced with 500 g of cooked fish fillets, in chunks* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
