Recipe ingredients
- 1 Texas Rio Star Grapefruit, cut into supremes
- 1 4-oz. (115-g) boneless beef strip loin steak, 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick
- 1 10 oz. (285 g) bag mesclun
- 1 mango, sliced
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) blue cheese salad dressing
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) salt
- 1/4 tsp. (1 mL) ground black pepper
- Freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
Sprinkle both sides of steak with salt and pepper.
Place steak on the rack of a grill directly over medium heat. Grill until desired doneness, turning once halfway through grilling.
To serve, thinly slice steak across the grain.
Arrange greens on a serving platter; top with meat, mango and grapefruit. Drizzle with salad dressing and season with black pepper.
