Recipe ingredients

  • 3 cups (750 mL) vegetable broth*, heated
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) miso
  • 4 oz. (120 g) semi-firm tofu
  • ⅓ oz. (10 g) wakame seaweed
  • Tamari sauce to taste
  • 2 green onions, minced

Preparation

Soak seaweed in warm water for 5 min. Drain.
Add miso to simmering broth. Add seaweed and tofu. Add tamari sauce to taste and simmer 10 min.
Sprinkle with green onions and serve.

Suggestion

Do not boil miso; boiling diminishes its nutritional value.
