Recipe ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. light margarine or butter
- 3 tsp. crushed garlic
- 3 tsp. curry powder (or more)
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 large bunch broccoli, chopped
- 4 cup(s) chicken broth
- .5 cup(s) milk or cream, as desired
- 1 as needed salt and pepper
- 1 tsp. freshly grated ginger
Preparation
Saute onions, garlic, and ginger in margerine or butter over medium heat. Add curry powder and saute for 1 minute. Add flour and saute for 3 min. Add chicken broth and broccoli and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 30 to 35 minutes until broccoli is tender. Add milk or cream, and serve.
Suggestion
For a soup with more "heat", add more curry powder according to your taste. You may then need to add a bit more milk or cream.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
