Recipe ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. (25 g) sugar
  • 1 2/3 cups (400 ml) milk
  • 2 Tbsp. syrup
  • 1 bar (100 g) Lindt Swiss Classic Surfin Dark Chocolate, chopped

Preparation

To make the syrup, combine the water and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. When the sugar is dissolved, remove the saucepan from the heat. Set aside.
Heat the milk and syrup to 50-60°C and add the chopped chocolate.
Whisk until chocolate is melted.
Refrigerate until chilled.
Prior to serving, blend the chocolate milk and banana in a blender until smooth. Add the rum if desired.
Serve in chilled glasses.
