Recipe ingredients
- 125 mL (1/2 cup) fresh bread crumbs
- 375 mL (1 1/2 cups) milk
- 320 g (1 package) Saputo shredded taco and nacho cheese
- 15 mL (1 Tbsp.) Dijon mustard
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 5 mL (1 tsp) Worcestershire sauce
- 250 mL (1 cup) mild salsa
- 30 mL (2 Tbsp.) tomato ketchup
- 60 mL (1/4 cup) fresh coriander, chopped
- 15 mL (1 Tbsp.) freshly squeezed lime juice
Preparation
In a saucepan, combine the first 9 ingredients.
Slowly bring to a boil and simmer over very low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat, add the coriander and lime juice and stir to combine.
Serve warm with chips or raw veggies.
Suggestion
This dip can be turned into a great burrito filling. Just add 125 mL (1/2 cup) of your favourite canned beans, drained and rinsed.All rights reserved © Saputo inc. 2010
