Recipe ingredients

  • 8 Slices Le Petit Charcutier Smoked Turkey Breast
  • 4 Slices Whole grain bread
  • ½ Avocado, peeled and sliced
  • 8 Slices Cucumber
  • ¼ cup (60mL) Sprouts (pea, radish, mustard, onion or alphalpha)
  • 2 Tbsp. (30mL) Red pepper jelly (optional)

Preparation

Divide smoked  turkey breast between 2 slices of bread.
Top each with cucumber, avocado and sprouts.
Spread remaining bread slices with red pepper jelly, if using, and top to make sandwiches. Serve immediately.

Suggestion

To prevent avocado from discolouring, toss slices with 2 tsp. (10 mL) lemon or apple  juice before putting on sandwich.
