Recipe ingredients
- 2.2 lb. (1 kg) lean ground Quebec Pork
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup (250 mL) breadcrumbs, or 2 slices of whole-wheat bread, crumbled
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) store-bought sun-dried tomato dressing
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) black or green olives, sliced
- 1/2 cup provolone or mozzarella, diced
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preparation
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Cut a rectangle of parchment paper and cover the bottom and sides of a bread pan.
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together and season generously.
Press mixture into bread pan and bake uncovered for 1 hour.
Let sit 15 minutes before slicing and serve with rice and seasonal vegetables.
