Apple and Havarti cheese Salad with sour cream

Add all
  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    sour cream

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)


  • 2 tsp.
    (10 mL)

    lemon juice

  • 4 cups
    (1 L)

    cored and diced red apples

  • 1 1/4 cups
    (315 mL)

    diced havarti cheese fine herb or tomato-basil

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    sliced celery

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    walnut pieces

  • lettuce leaves


In a small bowl, combine sour cream, honey and lemon juice. Refrigerate dressing at least 1 hour to blend flavours.

Just before serving, in a large bowl, combine apples, cheese, celery and walnuts. Pour in dressing and toss. To serve, spoon into lettuce-lined salad bowl.
