Ingredients

Add all
  • sufficient quantity, butter

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    sugar

  • 1/2 tsp.
    (2 mL)

    cinnamon

  • 4

    yellow apples, peeled, cored, quartered

  • juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 3

    eggs

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    milk

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    flour

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    icing sugar

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400°F / 200°C.

Butter 9 in. (22 cm) pie plate.

Combine sugar and cinnamon.

Arrange apple quarters in a spiral in the bottom of the pie plate, sprinkle with lemon juice and sugar.

In a bowl, mix eggs, milk and flour and pour over apples.

Bake on the middle rack 35 minutes.
