Asparagus, bacon and ChamPaître Omelette

    bunch fresh asparagus

    eggs

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    milk

  • freshly cracked black pepper to taste

  • 5 oz
    (150 g)

    Le ChamPaître cheese, sliced

Preparation

In a large, ovenproof sauté pan, cook the bacon and asparagus for 5 to 7 minutes.

Meanwhile, beat the eggs with the milk and add pepper to taste.

Pour the egg mixture into the pan.

Cover with Le ChamPaître cheese slices and continue baking in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes, according to the doneness level desired.
