Ingredients

    softened butter

  • 1/3 cup
    (80 mL)

    brown sugar

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    honey

  • 2

    eggs

  • 3/4 cup
    (190 mL)

    mashed ripe bananas

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    vanilla yogurt

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    whole-wheat flour

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    oatmeal

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    chopped pecans

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    chocolate chips (optional)

  • 2 tsp.
    (10 mL)

    baking soda

  • 1

    Salt

  • 1

    cinnamon

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C.

In a bowl, cream butter and brown sugar with electric beater. Add honey and beat a few seconds more.

Beat in eggs, one at a time.

Mix in mashed bananas and yogurt.

In another bowl, mix remaining ingredients together.

Gently stir dry ingredients into banana mixture.

Pour batter into a lightly oiled 12 in. x 9 in. (30 cm x 23 cm) jellyroll pan.

Bake 35 min. or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Cool 10 min. and cut into 36 bars.
