Beef Brochettes with Lemon Grass

Add all
  • 2 lbs
    (900 g)

    cubed beef (4 to 6 cubes/brochette)

  • marinade:

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    sesame oil or peanut oil

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    Tamari sauce

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    fresh chopped currents or current jelly

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    fresh chopped lemon grass

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)


  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    balsamic vinegar

  • To taste, Salt and pepper


In a glass bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients.

Put the beef cubes in the marinade and coat well. Cover and marinate about 1 hour in the refrigerator.

Preheat the barbecue to medium.

Remove beef cubes from the marinade, drain well and thread on brochettes.

Grill beef brochettes 8 to 10 minutes, turning from time to time.
