Ingredients

Add all
  • 1

    red onion, chopped

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    butter

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    oil

  • 1 lb
    (450 g)

    ground beef

  • 1

    green pepper, diced

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    chili powder

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    diced canned tomatoes, drained

  • 2 1/4 cups
    (565 mL)

    canned red beans drained

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

In a pan, sauté the onions in butter and oil.

Add the ground beef and sauté for 5 minutes.

Add the rest of the ingredients, bring to a boil and simmer 10 to 15 minutes
