Beef Sirloin Steaks with Dried Tomato and Oregano

Ingredients

Add all
  • 4x 5 to 6 oz
    (4x 150 to 180 g)

    strip loin grilling steak

  • sauce:

  • oil

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    dried tomato and oregano Dressing

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    molasse

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    Tamari sauce

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    fresh chopped rosemary

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    red wine

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    15% m.f. heavy or 35% m.f. cream

Preparation

Preheat the barbecue to medium.

In a pan, combine all basting sauce ingredients and boil 2 minutes, stirring gently.

Coat steaks with the sauce and grill 3 to 5 minutes on each side, basting regularly during cooking.
