Ingredients

    beef, cut into strips

  • 1

    onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    beef or other broth

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    flour

  • 1/2 tsp.
    (2 mL)

    Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    light soy sauce

  • ground ginger to taste

  • garlic powder to taste

  • 2 cups
    (500 mL)

    sliced mushrooms

  • 1

    red pepper, cut into strips

  • 1

    green pepper, cut into strips

  • 1

    celery stalk, sliced diagonally

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    broccoli florets

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    cauliflower florets

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    chopped parsley

Preparation

In a large pan, brown beef and onion over high heat. Add a bit of broth if necessary.

In a bowl, combine flour and remaining broth, stirring until smooth, and add to beef.

Stir remaining ingredients into the beef and onion mixture.

Cook, uncovered, over medium heat until vegetables are tender-crisp.
