Ingredients

Add all
  • 2x1/2 lb
    (2x225 g)

    steaks bottom blade boneless 1.25 cm (1/2 inch) thick

  • marinade three mustards and beer

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    olive oil

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    brown ale

  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)

    dry mustard

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    Dijon mustard

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    grainy mustard

  • 1/4 tsp.
    (1 mL)

    cayenne pepper

  • hot sauce to taste like harissa

Preparation

Prick with a fork, the bottom blade steaks.

In a bowl, combine all marinade ingredients.

In a large container, place the steaks and pour the marinade, turn the meat and marinate in refrigerator for 2 hours. Turn meat 2 or 3 times.

Drain the steaks.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

On oiled grill, cook steaks, uncovered 5 to 6 min. on each side or until desired doneness.

Accompanied by a bevy of sweet potatoes and grilled leeks
