Breast of Chicken with Basil Sauce

Add all
  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    olive oil

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)


  • 2

    cloves garlic, minced

  • 4

    breasts of chicken

  • 1/3 cup
    (80 mL)

    chicken broth

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    10% cream

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    basil pesto


In a frying pan, heat the oil and butter, brown garlic.

Cook chicken breasts 6 to 8 minutes on each side.

Deglaze the frying pan with the chicken broth.

Add cream and pesto, reduce by half over low heat 5 minutes.

Pour the sauce over the chicken breasts.
