Cardamom Sautéed Strawberries and Ground Cherries

    strawberries, cut in 2

  • 12

    ground cherries

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    butter

  • 1 1/2 tsp.
    (7 ml)

    cardamom

  • 4 Tbsp.
    (60 mL)

    rum

  • 3 Tbsp.
    (45 mL)

    honey

  • whipped cream to taste

  • mint leaves to taste

Preparation

Over medium heat, sauté strawberries and ground cherries in butter.

Add rum, honey and cardamom.

simmer 3 minutes and serve with whipped cream and mint leaves.
