Ingredients

Add all
  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    canola oil

  • 1

    ripe banana, mashed

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    honey

  • 1

    egg

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    milk

  • 1

    carrot, grated

  • 2

    unpeeled ripe pears, diced small

  • 2 cups
    (500 mL)

    whole-wheat flour

  • 4 tsp.
    (20 mL)

    baking powder

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

Grease muffin tins.

In a medium bowl, combine oil, banana, honey, egg, milk, pears and carrot.

In a big bowl, mix dry ingredients together.

Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Spoon batter into muffin tins.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
