Ingredients

Add all
  • 2 cups
    (500 mL)

    froot loops cereal

  • 515 g

    white or yellow cake mix

  • 24

    small paper-lined cake cups

  • 450 g

    sold on the market

  • cereal, candies and flakes to taste

Preparation

Place 500 mL (2 cups) of Froot Loops* cereal in a large zipper sealed bag, and crush them with a rolling pin to reduce to approximately 375 mL (1/2 cup).

Follow directions on cake packaging and add cereal to the preparation. Spoon batter evenly in 6 cm (2.5-inch) tube muffin cups (do not overfill).

Bake according to directions on packaging, for approximately 18 to 25 minutes, or until lightly browned and tooth pick inserted in centre comes out clean. Turn out cakes and let cool on rack. Spread icing and decorate with cereals, small candies and flakes.
