Cheese curd Meatballs tuna

Add all
  • 1 1/3 lb
    (600 mL)

    kidney beans, canned, drained

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    cheese curds, chopped

  • 1

    white onion, minced

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    chopped fresh mint

  • 4

    large pitas

  • 1/2

    leaf lettuce, shredded

  • 2 X 6 oz
    (2 X 180 g)

    cans tuna, drained

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Gently mash the beans with a fork.

Gently mix cheese curds, onion and fresh mint.

Warm pitas, open with the point of a knife.

Stuff pitas with shredded lettuce, tuna and bean cheese mixture. Serve.
