Cheesecake with a chocolate syrup, pineapple and toasted coconut

    (45 mL)

    grated unsweetened coconut

  • 4

    slices of fresh pineapple of about 1/2 in. (1 cm)

  • 1

    new york-style cheesecake, thawed

  • 5 oz
    (150 g)

    dark chocolate fondue container

Preparation

Preheat barbecue on one side to medium-high and the other to low.

Place coconut in an aluminum plate and put on the barbecue over low heat to brown. Stir constantly.

Grill slices of pineapple on the hot grill about 3 minutes each side.

Place the earthenware fondue container over low heat on the barbecue. Heat gently until chocolate melts completely, about 5 minutes
