Chicken and Havarti Ciabatta

    (225 g)

    boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 4 Tbsp.
    (60 mL)

    ciabatta bread, split lengthwise (leave halves attached)

  • 12

    fresh basil leaves

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    sliced mushrooms

  • 2

    pickled red peppers, thinly sliced

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    shredded canadian havarti


On barbecue grill or in toaster oven, grill chicken for 6 to 12 minutes. Turn once halfway through cooking.

Cut chicken into thin slices. Spread pesto on each half of bread.

Fill each with chicken, 3 basil leaves, mushrooms, sliced pepper and cheese.

Heat a few minutes.
