    ground beef

  • 0.500

    onion, chopped

  • 1

    garlic clove, chopped

  • 1/2

    red peppers, minced

  • 1/2

    yellow peppers, minced

  • 1/2

    green peppers, minced

  • 3 oz
    (100 g)

    frozen corn

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    jack daniel's (whisky)

  • 1/2 can

    of diced tomatoes or fresh tomato sauce

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)


  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)


  • 100 g

    canned black beans, drained

  • salt, pepper to taste

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    fresh parsley

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    fresh coriander


Sear meat with onion and garlic.

Add peppers and corn, cover and continue to cook over medium-high heat for a few minutes. Remove lid, deglaze with Jack Daniel's whisky.

Add tomatoes, spices, black beans, salt and simmer for 15 minutes.

Remove from heat, add fresh herbs.

Adjust seasoning, if required.
