  • 3 x 10 oz
    (3 x 284 mL)

    unreconstituted beef consomme

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)


  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    red wine

  • 1

    package of onion soup

  • 1


  • 1/2


  • 2 lb
    (900 g)

    thin slices of beef, chicken, horsemeat


In a saucepan, place all the ingredients except the meat.

Bring to a boil and let simmer over moderate heat for 45 minutes.

Pour into a fondue pot.

Place the fondue pot on the fondue burner. Cook the sliced meat in the broth for 1 to 2 minutes.
