    cinnamon waffles

    eggs

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    brown sugar

  • 1/3 cup
    (80 mL)

    all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)

    baking powder

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    apricots

  • 1/2 tsp.
    (2 mL)

    almond

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    sesame seeds

Preparation

Cover the bottom of a square 8 in. (20 cm) by 2 in. (5 cm) pan with cinnamon waffles.

In a bowl, beat eggs with brown sugar, add flour, baking powder, apricots and almond extract.

Pour mixture over waffles and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake at 350°F / 180°C about 20 minutes.
