Cream-Stuffed Crêpes with Strawberries

Ingredients

Add all
  • 1 1/4 cups
    (315 mL)

    all-purpose flour

  • 1/3 cup
    (80 mL)

    icing sugar

  • 3 Tbsp.
    (45 mL)

    orange zest

  • 1 pinch

    Salt

  • 1 1/2 cups
    (375 mL)

    milk

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    water

  • 1

    egg, beaten

  • butter as needed

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    whipped cream

  • 1 1/2 cups
    (375 mL)

    fresh strawberries

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    honey

Preparation

In a bowl, combine flour with sugar, 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) zest and salt.

Gradually add milk, water and egg, stirring after each addition.

In a skillet, add butter as needed and cook crêpes. Cool crêpes. Roll crêpes up into tubes and fill with whipped cream. Transfer crêpes to a plate and garnish with strawberries.

In a bowl, mix honey and remaining zest together. Heat 30 seconds in the microwave. Drizzle over crêpes.
