Crisp Vegetable Stir-fry

Add all
  • 3 Tbsp.
    (45 mL)

    sesame oil

  • 2

    green onions, coarsely chopped

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    broccoli florets

  • 1 lb
    (450 g)

    bean sprouts

  • 2

    carrots, peeled, halved and cut lengthways into very thin slices

  • 2

    sweet peppers, red and yellow, in strips

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    soya sauce

  • Salt and pepper to taste


In a wok, heat over medium sesame oil. Cook onions for 1 minute, add broccoli, and carrots. After a few minutes, add other vegetables; they should be crisp. Add soya sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
