Curried Ground Cherry Chutney

Ingredients

Add all
  • 1 1/2 cups
    (375 mL)

    ground cherries

  • 1

    small onion, shredded

  • 0.500

    red pepper diced

  • 1/3 cup
    (80 mL)

    red wine vinegar

  • 1/3 cup
    (80 mL)

    pasteurized honey

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    mustard seeds

  • 1/2 tsp.
    (2 mL)

    powdered curry

  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

In a saucepan, place all the ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes stirring from time to time until the mixture is syrupy. Let cool.

Store in pots and refrigerate.

Delicious with pork dishes.
