English Muffins with Apples

Ingredients

Add all
  • 2 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    butter

  • 4

    english muffins, split

  • 2

    fresh unpeeled apples, thinly sliced

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    honey

  • nutmeg or cinnamon to taste.

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400°F / 200°C.

Lightly butter each English muffin half and put on a cookie sheet.

Cover with apple slices and put a few drops of honey on each.

Lightly dust with nutmeg or cinnamon and cook until apples soften.

Bake at 400°F / 200°C 15 minutes.
