  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    olive oil

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    fresh lemon juice

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 4

    fish fillets (trout,cod, salmon)

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    slivered almonds


Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a bowl, combine oil with lemon juice, salt and pepper.

Bake fish fillets on a cookie sheet 8 minutes per inch (2.5 cm) of thickness.

Turn fillets. Spoon liquid mixture over fillets. Sprinkle with almonds. Broil until almonds are toasted.
