French Toast with Apples and Gouda

    thick slices of canadian gouda

  • 1

    apple, sliced thin

  • 4

    slices raisin bread

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)



In a small bowl, beat eggs and milk.

Arrange slices of cheese and apple on 2 slices of raisin bread and cover with the remaining 2 slices of bread. Press each sandwich to flatten slightly.

Carefully dip both sides of sandwiches in egg mixture and let them soak up mixture.

Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and melt butter. Grill sandwiches for about 3 minutes on each side or until golden.
