Fruit Salad with Creamy Lime Sauce

Ingredients

Add all
  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    light sour cream

  • 1/3 cup
    (80 mL)

    greek-style plain yogurt

  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)

    finely grated lime zest

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    Maple syrup

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    lime juice

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    skim milk (optional)

  • 6 cups
    (1 1/2 L)

    chopped fresh fruit

  • lime zest strips for decoration (optional)

Preparation

In a small bowl, combine the sour cream, yogurt, grated lime zest, maple syrup and lime juice. Adjust the consistency, if needed, by adding milk. (You can prepare this sauce in advance and store, covered. It will keep up to 5 days in the refrigerator.)

Divide the fruit mixture into 12 dessert bowls. Dress each portion with the creamy lime sauce. Garnish with the zest strips, as desired.
