Ginger-Flavoured Halibut Steak with Fruit Kebabs

Add all
  • marinade:

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    olive oil

  • 1

    jus from lemon

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    fresh ginger, chopped

  • 1

    garlic clove, chopped

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 4

    fresh halibut steaks

  • 1

    carambola sliced

  • 2

    small oranges quartered

  • 2

    kiwis quartered

  • 8

    pineapple cubes


In a shallow pan, mix all marinade ingredients and place the halibut steaks. Refrigerate for 2 hrs.

Preheat the barbecue to medium.

Place the steaks on the barbecue and cook 5-6 min. per side. Turn once during cooking.

Meanwhile, place the pieces of fruit on skewers and cook on the barbecue 1-3 min.
