Greek Style Giant Shrimps over Capellini

    garlic cloves, finely chopped

  • 4

    green onions, chopped

  • To taste fresh basil and oregano

  • To taste all spice

  • To taste Salt and pepper

  • 3 Tbsp.
    (45 mL)

    olives, chopped

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    dry white wine

  • 907 g

    large cooked shrimp frozen frozen, thawed, cut in 2 lengthwise

  • 8

    cherry tomatoes, cut in 2

  • 1 lb
    (500 g)

    capellini, cooked until "al dente"

  • 1/3 lb
    (150 g)

    feta, cut in cubes


In a frying pan, cook garlic, green onions in butter for 1 minute.

Season to taste with basil, oregano, salt, pepper and allspice.

Stir in olives and wine. Bring to boil and reduce to half.

Stir in thawed shrimp Remove from heat and gently stir in tomatoes and Feta.

Serve immediately over bed of capellini.

Garnish with fresh herbs.
