Ham with Apple-Cranberry Sauce

Add all
  • 2/3 cup
    (170 mL)

    diced red apples

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    fresh cranberries

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)


  • 1/2 tsp.
    (3 mL)


  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    chopped walnuts

  • 4 slices

    cooked ham


In a saucepan, combine apples, cranberries, brown sugar and water and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring often.

Add cinnamon and nuts and simmer 5 more minutes.

Serve hot or cold ham with sauce, baked potatoes and green peas.
