    peaches, coarsely diced

    pear, coarsely diced

  • 1

    apple, peeled and coarsely diced

  • 1

    orange, with membranes removed

  • 3 Tbsp.
    (45 mL)

    honey

  • 1/4 tsp.
    (1 mL)

    cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp.
    (1 mL)

    ground ginger

  • 1 pinch

    ground cardamom

  • 1 pinch

    ground clove

  • 2

    star anise

  • 4

    scoops of french vanilla ice cream

Preparation

Preheat the barbecue to medium heat.

Cut two large squares of aluminum foil and one square of parchment paper. Place the parchment paper over one sheet of the aluminum foil and save the other to close the papillote.

Place the fruit in the middle of the paper, add the honey and sprinkle with spices. Place the second piece of aluminum foil over it and close it all around by rolling the edges of the two sheets of aluminum foil together to seal the papillote. Cook 7 to 10 minUTES. without turning the papillote. Open the papillote carefully to avoid the steam. Remove the star anise.

Spoon the fruit onto Merit Selection vanilla ice cream and serve it quickly.
