    jumbo wiener

  • 6 Tbsp.
    (90 mL)

    kernel corn

  • 1/4

    red peppers, cut into thin strips

  • 1/4

    green pepper, cut into thin strips

  • 1

    small tomato, seeded and diced

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    chili sauce

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    olive oil

  • 4

    italian-style hot dog buns

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    grated cheddar


Preheat barbecue to medium.

Cook sausages on the grill for 6-8 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix corn, peppers, tomato and olive oil together on a double sheet of foil. Brush with chili sauce and cook on the grill for 4-5 minutes or until vegetables are hot and tender-crisp.

Grill buns 1-2 minutes per side.

Slip a Top Dog into each bun, add vegetables and cheese.
